Architect – Competition Manager (m/f/x)

Permanent position, full time

As head of our competitions department, you will be responsible for all activities relating to our participation in architectural competitions.

In parallel with competition-related activities, you will also take part in carrying out feasibility studies and various internal projects within the office. In concrete terms, this involves:

Your responsibilities:

  • Summarize the regulatory context and specifications specific to each competition,

  • Establish contact with the various design offices, organize and coordinate workshops,

  • Set up schedules and monitor deadlines,

  • Actively participate in workshops, set up and lead focus groups,

  • Develop architectural concepts, concretize and synthesize ideas clearly in the form of diagrams,

  • Draw up presentation plans, layouts and renderings,

  • Prepare editorial material to explain the project,

  • Regular monitoring of calls for applications and competitions on public procurement platforms,

  • Compile administrative documents for applications

Your profile:

  • With a degree in architecture, you have significant experience in competition projects in an architectural office in Luxembourg;

  • Creative, you have excellent design and conceptual skills;

  • Able to work independently and in a structured way, respecting deadlines, in order to successfully complete the various phases of a competition, as well as being part of a multidisciplinary team;

  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD (3D), REVIT would be an asset

  • Fluency in French required; German and Luxembourgish would be an asset

  • Knowledge of SketchUp, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Adobe suite and windows.

Architect – Project Manager (m/f/x)

You will be responsible for complex projects of varying sizes within our office, from design to completion. You’ll coordinate the various phases of the projects you’re in charge of, accompanied by a team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage business processes independently, while initiating strategic actions and supervising the staff involved in the project.

  • Analyze and synthesize the regulatory framework specific to each project.

  • Ensure financial follow-up and compliance with the allocated budget.

  • Draw up the schedule and oversee the execution of the project.

  • Liaise with project owners, design offices, contractors and public authorities to coordinate the project and conduct negotiations.

  • Design and draw up working drawings and construction details.

  • Draw up specifications and corresponding bills of quantities.

  • Supervise the worksite and ensure technical coordination of execution.

Your profile:

  • Degree in architecture (BAC +5)

  • Significant experience in an architectural office of at least 5 years in execution, drawing up specifications and site supervision.

  • Perfect command of ArchiCad and MS Office suite (essential), command of REVIT would be an asset

  • Perfect command of French, German would be an asset

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and adapt to dynamic work environments

  • Thoroughness, self-reliance, sense of service and teamwork, willingness to learn and develop continuously

Architect – Team Leader (m/f/x)

Permanent position, full time

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for complex urban and architectural projects of all sizes, from design to completion, while coordinating and supervising your team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independently manage projects and business processes.
  • Manage, supervise and motivate the employees involved.
  • Analyse and summarise the Luxembourg regulatory framework specific to each project.
  • Know and be able to apply the Luxembourg regulatory framework.
  • Supervise financial monitoring and ensure that the budget is adhered to.
  • Monitor the planning and ensure that it runs smoothly.
  • Coordinate with project owners, design offices, companies and administrations, and conduct the necessary negotiations.
  • Design, develop and validate execution plans and construction details.
  • Draft specifications and draw up the corresponding schedules.
  • Supervise the construction site, ensuring technical coordination of the execution and checking the technical compliance of the project.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent, with a specialisation in urban planning preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience, ideally covering all project phases (design, execution, site supervision).
  • Proven experience in team management.
  • Perfect command of ArchiCAD and MS Office;
  • Excellent command of French; German or English a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Rigorous, independent, service-oriented and a team player, with a desire to learn and continuously improve.
